Star Trek: Voyager: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Mike Duffy Detroit Free Press All that "Star Trek" space jargon and hardware gibberish can be unintentionally comical... Still, compared to other shows Paramount and the WB are introducing this month, "Star Trek Voyager" is a welcome, well-crafted space chase. Apr 8, 2021 Full Review Star Trek: Voyager: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Jonathan Storm Philadelphia Inquirer After all this time, it becomes clear that you either like these things or you don't. I think they're silly, illogical, poorly acted and pretentious. Apr 8, 2021 Full Review Star Trek: Voyager: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Christian Williams Los Angeles Times Though it, unfortunately, never slows down long enough for anyone to palpably feel anything, this third modern series spinoff from the original "Trek" has potential charms aplenty in its expedition. Apr 8, 2021 Full Review Star Trek: Voyager: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Joshua Tyler Giant Freakin Robot Voyager didn’t kill Star Trek but it was the beginning of a trend that would send Star Trek into a deep coma, a coma it would not awake from until 2009’s Star Trek reboot. Mar 12, 2024 Full Review Star Trek: Voyager: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Hal Boedeker Miami Herald The storytelling needs to be more creative if Voyager hopes to pull viewers away from Melrose Place, The Nanny, Fresh Prince of Bel-Ar, Blossom, and Coach in prime time's toughest slot, 8 to 9 p.m. Mondays. Apr 8, 2021 Full Review Star Trek: Voyager: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Rick Kushman Sacramento Bee "Voyager" starts off right with a solid "Star Trek" blend of humor, adventure, techno-magic and morality. And most importantly, it has another great captain. Apr 8, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Janeway was the bomb. Confident, strong, inspiring and full of integrity as a leader should It's not a fantastic show, but it got the core of it right. Full of heart and good characters, this was a more hopeful time for Star Trek. Oh how far we have fallen Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Michael Antony A Mikey's Review: Star Trek: Voyager (1995-2001)After countless years, I finally completed the entire run of Star Trek's 4th TV incarnation. 7 Seasons. 172 Episodes!Often mauled, maligned and marginalized by critics and genre fans alike, Captain Janeway and her gallant crew actually deserve a little better. While certainly not perfect, the good far out-ways the bad, with some charming character work and some pretty clever story ideas. Like most episodic television, the format was often the biggest obstacle for the writers - how to tell a meaningful, engaging story in 44 minutes. Story-Arcs have become the standard for TV today, and for better or worse, the current incarnations - Star Trek: Discover, Star Trek: Lower Decks and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds are the first Federation based shows to get that chance. Regular cast standouts include Kate Mulgrew as Captain Kathryn Janeway, Robert Picardo (The Doctor), Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) and Jeri Ryan as Seven Of Nine, while story highlights include 'Flashback', 'Timeless', 'Endgame', 'Blink Of An Eye' and 'Equinox'. Trekker? A few hours to spare? Another trip to the Delta Quadrant might be worth your time.Mikey's TV Rating: 3/5* Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/27/23 Full Review Brendan F The Friends of the sci-fi universe. Absolutely love this time capsule of a tv series. I'm on my 4th spin of the whole season in the last 2 years, and I guarantee there will be more. Easy viewing, relaxing and a joy to watch. Much better than Star Wars Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/21/23 Full Review KAGE M I found the characters stiff, dialogue unnatural and un-realistic. As a Star Trek fan, I found the show amateurish and painful to watch. It may have done better with a better cast, writers and directors. Other than sucking like an industrial vacuum cleaner it was not bad. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I love Star Trek Voyager; some more characters than others. Love, Love, Love, of course, Captain Janeway. Strong, intelligent, emotional, supportive. A true leader. I "like" Chakotay and love the actor who portrays him. I really wished he and Janeway would have taken it to the next level romantically. That decision to make Chakotay and Seven-of-Nine a love interest was totally ridiculous and totally out of left field. I love Tuvok (Tim Russ), especially love "The Doctor." His character arc was the most interesting, and well as Seven-of-Nine (the lovely Jeri Ryan). Kes, I liked her caring and thoughtful nature. Neelix. Hated his character. As time went on, Neelix had less to do and became more winey and just very irritating. Oh, and lets not forget the Borg Queen (2 actresses played this role and both were amazing). My favorite Star Trek is Star Trek Voyager. 2nd, is the original Star Trek. I didn't really get into Star Trek: Next Generation all that much. But as a guy man, I had a big crush on Worf. LOL. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review robert p A Much Better Star Trek than The Next Generation, Everyone has been picked to perfection especially Biana Torrez.
